Jillian Crossgrove

CPM (Midwife)

Jillian was raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri and grew up always aspiring to help people from a very young age. Birth work presented itself in her life by sheer happenstance in her twenties, and through an extensive dive into the various ways that she could support families as they welcome their newest members, she was called to midwifery.

In 2015, she moved to Pacific Northwest to pursue a dynamic midwifery education. During her apprenticeship, she studied under a local home birth midwife for over a year before finishing her training at Andaluz Waterbirth Center in Portland, OR. She graduated from Birthingway College of Midwifery with a Bachelor’s of Science in 2020. She is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) by the North American Registry of Midwives and holds an active midwifery license in the state of Oregon.

Jillian is a dedicated mother to her sons, Sydney & Ellis, whose births further developed her passion about providing safe, empathetic and supportive care; the focus being on informed consent and implementing the Midwifery Model of Care. She believes that low risk individuals deserve to receive the benefits of quality care, and she enjoys serving the families in the rural area that she currently resides.

When she is not supporting families, Jillian loves spending time with her husband Chad and their sons. Together, they love to explore all of the nature and beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She also enjoys reading books, walking with her dogs, baking, gardening, tending to her ever-growing houseplant collection, and trying to learn to be a better cook.
